Birmingham Education and Advisory Service (BEEAS) is a long-standing organisation, founded in March 1984. Our purpose is to improve the life chances of some of the most disadvantaged communities in Birmingham. From its very start BEEAS has been responsible for:
- Organising and delivering English as a Second Language classes
- Offering advice and guidance on educational and training issues
- Making people more employable and providing access to training
- Providing opportunities for gaining qualifications and further professional development
- Signposting services for the community
- Promoting health and wellbeing programmes
